Impact
Racial, gender, and climate inequities are deepening and preventing millions of people from living full, productive lives. Now is a critical moment for coordinated action to address these interconnected, systemic inequities and create a more equitable and sustainable future for everyone. That is why Blue Meridian Partners, Climate Lead, and Co-Impact, leaders in the collaborate philanthropy space, are coming together to create Ignite Impact — a new avenue for philanthropists to support proven initiatives that address systemic and interconnected inequities. Ignite Impact is a new pilot platform purposefully designed to unlock greater resources for impact at scale and enable more philanthropists to address the biggest issues of racial, climate, and gender inequity.
The design concept is about giving shape to the platform and draws inspiration from the underlying principles of the platform. The connector graphic visualizes our foundation and the joining together of various stakeholders, while the modular space reflects how the platform can grow, scale and evolve.
The design also leans into the tension found in using hard, solid lines and soft color and emotional imagery — striking a balance between academic rigor and humanity.
The color palette is built off Ignite Impacts four strategic pillars and is informed by color psychology. The color tones are meant to evoke feelings of empathy, optimism, positivity and trust.
The approach to photography is that it should be used to tell a story: authentic moments shown through bold compositions that depict our platform in action. The choice to use black and white photography allows the focus of the image to stay on the subjects without any distractions.
A library of colorful gradient overlays can be added to the photography as a way to visually show the meaningful change that Ignite Impact’s platform is creating.
